Cafe Restaurant Gerling in Bad Westernkotten

Have been there several times for the motorhome dinner (but also more often "normal" before the pandemic). Food was delicious, really nice service. Nice idea to use your own existing motorhome space now, even if it is currently not legally possible to stay overnight. Successful change and at the same time a little support for local gastronomy. Food can be pre-ordered by phone and will be brought directly to the vehicle.

We were there yesterday for the motorhome dinner, to cut a long story short - great food, very nice and attentive hosts! We'll definitely be back!

Always a good address. Whether breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or pick-up. The prices are absolutely okay, the staff and the operators are super nice and always have an open ear for the wishes of the guests. Clear recommendation. You shouldn't forget the beer garden under any circumstances and when the Corona fight is fought I will be happy to return to it by bike. *****

Our first womo dinner. It was just great. Super nice service and fantastic food. Absolutely to be recommended.

Assessment is more difficult in times of pandemic. The kitchen has declined a lot over the past two years. The schnitzel could hardly have been beaten flat. Almost no more meat. There is a clear lack of flavor. Vegetables or salad are only served in small quantities. The service is meanwhile mediocre. The prices move on the other hand

Mülheim is beautiful, it lies on a river - the Ruhr. The Gesellenhaus restaurant is very centrally located, close to the old town. Mülheim is always worth a trip. regards Fred winner

Reservation outside / beer garden. Very friendly service, but understaffed kitchen. 1 hour waiting for food. (Sun evening, 7 p.m., but the 2020 local elections came to a close. Several large groups were here.) The food was then very tasty: burrata mozzarella with cherry tomatoes, spinach and oil with a little chili. For that reason alone we would come back. Small escalopes of fallow deer with chanterelles and cranberries. When there are 3 schnitzel on the plate, it's no longer small. 🙂 And the combination with the chanterelles and the lukewarm, slightly sour potato salad was GREAT. Next time we come to St. Martin's goose.

The food was delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately, the service was quite incompetent. The prices are reasonable. The view from the terrace of the large fallow deer enclosure is very nice. All in all, I can recommend a visit to the restaurant.

We went on a weekend trip with our mobile home to the parking space of the Café Restaurant Gerling. We have seldom felt as comfortable as we did with the Gerling family, the friendliness of the owners and the staff are indescribable, always an honest smile on our face. And the Quality of the food offered, just great. We would love to come back.

We went there for dinner on August 10, 2020. Thank you for the lovely evening. It was delicious and the service was GREAT. I can only recommend it 👍

Fast and super nice service in a nice atmosphere. Very suitable for children because they have great fun watching and feeding the fallow deer in the adjoining outdoor enclosure. There is also a playground and free-standing benches where you can linger and watch the animals. The food is fantastic and well prepared. It's been a long time since eaten and felt so great.
